A taste of Owen's newborn/1 month photo shoot...

Here's some things the pictures can't tell you...

Birth Weight : 7lbs, 5 oz

3 Weeks Weight : 8lbs, 2 oz

Birth Length : 20.5 in

2 Weeks Length : 21.5 in

Misc things...

-He has sideburns and wrinkles across his forehead like his Daddy

-He and his Mommy have the same mouth

-His nose and eyes remind us a ton of his cousin Noah when he was a baby (on his Daddy's side)

-He has beautiful blue eyes like the both of us, although right now they're much deeper and darker than either of ours

-He smiles with his entire face and eyes :)

-He's SO dramatic when he sneezes, coughs, or yawns.

-He breathes with his whole body. Literally. His whole body moves when he breathes. Lol

-He hatessss hiccups. And he gets them A LOT. :(

-When he gets ready to cry, we joke that he looks like Mr. Magoo - his face turns into a million wrinkles! Haha

-He is a SNUGGLER. And we LOVE that! :)

1 Month Old

Can't believe Owen's already a month old! Granted, February was a short month, but still... Here's a look back at some of our favorite pictures this month - he's already grown so much!

Chillin' out in his bouncy seat (2 days)

1st night home, snuggling with Daddy (2 days)

Snow day! (3 days)

Sleeping on the couch while Daddy played in the snow (3 days)

Ready for his newborn doctor's appointment (6 days)

Resting up with Daddy before the Super Bowl started (5 days)

He falls asleep in the funniest poses... This is his "ninja" impersonation (10 days)

Story behind this... Our friend's camera flashed for a few seconds before the actual picture took - causing O to make this face and Kevin to realize there was a picture being taken (which he then made a funny face in just for fun)... little did any of us realize, they had the same expression! Hahaha (18 days)

Nursery

Kevin and I had so much fun getting the nursery ready for Owen! Not going to lie... it took a LOT of time to measure, tape, paint, and touch up those darned stripes, but we LOVE the way it turned out. A few cool things about the room...

-The transportation things inside the white stripe are vinyl decals.

-The glider was a gift from my parents carrying on/starting a tradition. My Gran bought her and my aunt gliders when they had my cousin and me (first borns).

-The crib and changing table/dresser was my cousin's, and the side table was Kevin's Nana's. :)

-Kevin stripped, sanded, and painted the changing table/dresser and the side table.

-I painted the letters and canvases on the wall.
